Hi, Hottie! Welcome to Club Swellter.
I've been told I'm "too much" my entire life...
Too loud. Too opinionated. Too wild. Too emotional. Too much personality. You name it, I've probably been called it.
For as long as I can remember, I've been told to tone it down, water myself down, dim my sparkle, and make myself a little more digestible for the people around me.
And for a while, I actually believed I needed to.
Then I fell in love with heated workouts. The sweat, the challenge, the way I felt walking out of a class. I was hooked. But the more time I spent in the wellness world, the more I started noticing something that didn't sit right with me.
Somewhere along the way, wellness had become a competition to see who could be the most perfectly put together version of the exact same girl.
The matching beige sets. The slicked back buns. The 5 AM routines. The green juices. The unspoken expectation that being a "wellness girl" meant being quiet, polished, disciplined, and perfectly behaved.
And listen, I love a green juice as much as the next girl. But since when did taking care of yourself come with a personality requirement?
I couldn't help but wonder why an industry built around empowering women seemed to leave so little room for us to actually be ourselves.
Where were the loud girls? The party girls? The girls with big personalities, questionable decisions, and a genuine love for a good workout?
Where were the girls like me?
So I decided to make a little trouble...
I didn't want to choose between being a Pilates girl and being a party girl. I didn't want to trade my personality for a wellness routine or pretend that waking up at 4 AM and eating rice cakes was the secret to being hot.
I wanted both. The workouts AND the weekends. The discipline AND the debauchery. The green juice AND the dirty martini.
And I had a feeling I wasn't the only one.
So I started with something simple: a towel.
But not another boring, forgettable workout towel. I wanted something loud, sexy, playful, and full of personality. Something that actually felt like ME.
I designed my first Swellter towel, brought it to class, and suddenly people were asking where they could get one. Three girls in a single class complimented it. Someone even wanted to buy the exact towel I'd just spent an hour sweating on.
And that's when it clicked.
Maybe I wasn't the only girl tired of blending in.
What started as a towel became something so much bigger. A brand for the girls who have been told they're too much. For the girls who love feeling hot, getting sweaty, going out, staying in, being good, being bad, and everything in between.
Because I don't believe being a "hot girl" has anything to do with your body, your bedtime, or how many green juices you drink.
It's about confidence. It's about owning who you are. It's about having the freedom to be every version of yourself without apologizing for any of them.
That's what Swellter stands for.
We're not here to tell you how to be a better girl. We're here to remind you that you never needed to be a different one.
